I would make sure that the fig cutting have not froze. I have never stored fig cuttings. Since I have a greenhouse, I normally just put them in a soilless mix to begin the rooting. Same with blackberry.

You can store cutting in the crisper of your refrigerator in a sealed ziploc bag. Put a paper towel in with the cutting that has been misted with water. Just don't soak it. You want just enough moisture to keep the cuttings from drying out but not wet enough to develop mold.

Someone has a greenhouse they haven't spoke of lol... Someone should be spending more time in this section with the knowledge they have..:hey3:

How big does the bush/tree grow?

Uhmmm ... It dies back to the ground and then grows a little taller every year. This bush is 3 years old. Year before last year I could see over the top of it. Last year it was tall enough I had to stand on my tip-toes to harvest fruit at the top. There was one is the back yard of Mrs. Barnes' house that was taller than the house. Really. I have no idea how old it was but she was 810 when I met her. Lol

Lol, well... so much for the "plant one in a 5 gallon bucket" theory. :D

Thanks!
