Most of mine were purchased as investments. I stick with the tried and true stuff. I steer away from the niche items because the market narrows. Some of mine have tripled in value over the years.

How many $ 40 22's are there now. How many $100 30-30 are there now. Just about any firearm is going to go up in value except for the junk guns. The junk guns were junk when new and are still junk.

I bought a little H&R 622 .22LR revolver off here a while back for less than $100. It's rusty, dirty, and sits in my tackle box with rat-shot for snakes. I see them selling now for $300.

Looking at pre-ban rifle prices got me thinking. Which firearms would you buy today that may appreciate in value in the near- and far-future?

If you really want to look at stuff that will appreciate, I'd look into NFA items.

Outside of that, seems anything imported will be a target of the Biden Admin.

To fickle of an environment since firearms are subject to regulation and can be outlawed/further restricted with the stroke of a pen.

Near future: anything on Biden's proposed ban list that you can get at a reasonable price. Glocks are already up ~50%, AKs ~30%, ARs ~20%. Magazines have not been impacted much yet and a possible...more like probable opportunity. Ammo, thus far, has been the clear and obvious winner of the most recent price spikes due to demand from new gun owners...will these same people decide they need a few extra magazines before any bans take place? maybe.

There is no risk if you u derstand the market and thats so easy a caveman can do it

It’s so hard for me to sell a gun. Have regretted every sale. I get emotionally attached. [emoji1787] My new policy is like Hotel California...
