Wanted the Springfield Double stack tack with TFS 10mm but I was sick of waiting. I just wanted the optic and threaded barrel and I thought, BS. I've got plenty of those. This is just a gun I wanted and I'll get good with it using Iron sights and tactical glow worms in front (ha).
Well it comes in tomorrow and I've been picking up 10 mm acp here and there as I can. Weak on factory bullets but I have a 180 grain 6 slot bullet molds and powder. Not happy with only a thousand factory bullets and few brass casings but it will have to do.
I've had RI's and they are great guns. They get a bunch of flack but I've never had a problem with them and they shoot outstanding. It's a single stack with an adjustable trigger. I've got 4 wilson combat mags waiting her arrival and I plan on reeking havoc during sighing in. I've been really looking forward to this gun.
It will be the last of my purchases unless a WWII rifle comes up at a great price for me to restore. Otherwise, I'm done on gun buying other than the FFP scope I'm still waiting for.
Now it will be time to thin down the herd and sell a few of the duplicate cals I have and only keep my keepers....did I just say that? Keep my keepers? Oh well. Here's a pic off the site of my little beaut.

Sure, I was done after I bought my Kimber Rapide Black ice 10mm. Then I bought a Range Officer Target 9mm, then a Glock 37... Ordered a CMMG Banshee in there somewhere too, and a few ar lowers...

Did you get the single stack or double stack version? I just bought the double stack version a couple weeks back and I love it. It’s also the heaviest pistol that I own by far (a little under 4lbs. fully loaded), it soaks up every bit of that 10mm recoil. I love RIA pistols and they‘re as reliable as any other 1911 I’ve owned. I currently have two, this one and a gen 1 tact .45. (Both pictured)
