Daniel Arms had several videos down at Leons, Daniel quit the OHP to be a youtube star and has quite the following for some reason. I have met him but he is 20 years younger than me so we don't always see eye to eye. His channel is Arms Family Homestead.

Watched the channel many times, but I like a vid without a lot of filler, I want the intel.. The wife enjoys the family homesteaders, not I..

Because of the Crazy that's occurring I figure our cuttings are a good investment.. A fig tree at the nursery was $70.00.. We'll have 9 types of figs once they all arrive.. I've been paying from $1.50 to $6.00 a cutting.. 54 more recently ordered.. There's 1400 named varities but many/most are not valid, Bubba likes to name his own.. Figs have a tremendous fan club and the future looks bright for local grown.. Along with the berries we'll have we're going to be some fruity mfk'ers, which should mean we'll fit right in with the coming era..

If anyone (in state) would like to have some Black Current rooted plants I am clearing out a thicket. The plants came from a thicket that grew along the fence line of our farm. I got the first transplants from that thicket about 40 years ago and kept moving transplants with me over the years.

I place Black Current jelly just behind Sand Plum as the top two to eat on a biscuit.

I can dig up some root stock and wrap in a wet paper towel. PM me if wanted.

I was tempted for a moment, but I went bonkers on fig cuttings over 100, 45 blueberries to plant, 30 or so goji berries, handful of aronia berries and no telling how many strawberries, 25 at present.. Plus the garden.. The next clone I'll need will be myself so it all gets done..

Been spending a LOT of time trying to become well versed in growing things.. The world of figs is much bigger than I knew.. The ourfig forum often has as many or more members signed in then we see here.. As with any hobby it's competitive and even snobby but with many good folks.. There's even a figbid site where you bid on single or multiple cuttings.. 1, 11 inch cutting with 5 nodes recently fetched $255 lol, kinda crazy for what most would consider a stick..
Anyway hope life finds you good chaps in a good place and state of mind.. We're still hopeful things will shape up..

I'm in the process of removing 2 fairly large (25ish ft tall) box elders from my backyard. I'm bringing them down a few limbs at a time and paying a niece's boyfriend to haul the debris out. I say box elders because they're full of box elder bottles. Anyway, the goal is to plant 2 semi dwarf and 2 dwarf fruit trees in that area. Do ya'll know a nursery in the okc area that has good healthy stock. I'm hoping to get them in the ground spring of 22.
