Stupidly sold my aforementioned 72 in around 2007 for $12,500. Biggest automotive mistake I've ever made. I'll likely never be able to own another one because of the price runup.

Yeah, I paid less than $2K for my 68 Charger in 93 or 94 and sold it in cherry condition in 96 for $7500...can't hardly even touch a basket case 68 with a 383 for that these days.

Anything Mopar is expensive (compared to other brands). Depending on what Mopar you're looking at the sky could be the limit. I've been building a Mopar for the past 2 years. A bodies tend to be he cheaper cars to build,.

Yeah, A bodies seem to be more affordable...they just never tripped my trigger lol.

I've always been a B or 70's E body fan.

It's frustrating. I did buy my 70 Torino Cobra in 1986 for $2000; my kids still marvel at that. The fact you could buy a Cobra Jet 4 speed Ford for that kind of price blows their minds. I tease them about selling that one, too. It doesn't go over well.

I love the old muscle cars, a '70 Cuda would be my choice, but the cost is ridiculous.

My thoughts these days are doing an EV conversion, maybe a Miata, where parts are available, and won't break the bank. There are EV kits for around $7K-$8K which can be a lot of bang for the buck. Once you feel the power delivery and acceleration of an EV it's pretty addictive. In a light bodied car like a Miata it would be insane.
