I guess I am having a hard time picturing a bad situation selling a rifle scope.
I honestly think "gun people" would be the last of choices for targets in a robbery or whatever you want to call it.
Sure, there are stupid people out there, and yes risks exist everywhere, but to think that there are that many people out there looking to rob people selling scopes vs cell phones or wheels or something is hard to believe. Especially in a state like Oklahoma. Just my .02 cents. Better safe than sorry though if you are indeed worried about it.

If nothing else, ask your OSA brothers and sisters for backup. I am sure if one of us is close to you they would not mind going to the meet with you.

There is an ad in the classifieds promoting security for your FTF transactions. You could always take him up on it. :thumbup3:

I have 2 buyers for one of my scopes here but both have no feedback and have no threads they have posted here. That makes me uncomfortable. What do you think?
Meet up at a PD or SO lot. My first transaction here was about a week or so after joining. Seller asked the same as you were. I met him at his local PD's parking lot and he had a buddy along for the ride who was an officer at the PD. Made a friend out of the deal too.
