I'll just do a couple/3 forged. The folder is cool, and I'm want to like them, but just cannot get past the inability to fire when folder... which is just a limitation of ARs in general.

They said it fires when folded.

Correct, I thought the same thing. They DO fire when folded.

I have a 10.5 upper on a folder and it fits into all sorts of bags very easily. From what I understand, the folders are also billet, which is awesome for the price. If you have any interest in a folder, this is a steal. Usually you'd have to buy a LAW folder for $250 and that doesn't even include the lower.

I'll be picking up another folder and registering one as an SBR and one lower will be kept as a pistol so I can swap uppers back and forth legally if I cross state lines.

Wait, what? You serious, Clark?
Yes. From what I understand, it will fire once when folded but of course the bolt won't open and extract/eject the casing.

To fire it again you would "unfold" it then pull the charging handle to load another round and fire at will.

The folding feature I believe is just to reduce the length for storage or carry.
