Yes. From what I understand, it will fire once when folded but of course the bolt won't open and extract/eject the casing.

To fire it again you would "unfold" it then pull the charging handle to load another round and fire at will.

The folding feature I believe is just to reduce the length for storage or carry.

Ehhh, ok, I didn't know that. That was kinda my thought initially when I saw it (there's little to nothing on PA's page about the function), then someone said you COULD fire it with it folded, it never occurred to me that was 'single-shot'.

I don't know about how it "could" fire more than once, but if it's a single-shot, it's of less utility for me. I think I may still get one, but not 2 like I had planned.

Anyone know if you could use the folder in a 'pistol' configuration? Meaning with the proprietary buffer and a pistol tube? I've been thinking about something super compact for a PCC, I wondered if this might be an option. Something you can put a 4" or 5" barrel on and fold up to put in a backpack or something....

It should work just fine for a pistol.

This is what I want too, a foldable PCC, I'm thinking due to the proprietary buffer, it won't work all that well. May work with a CMMG 9mm upper, as they recommend normal buffers and a carbine tube. Which is why I'm leaning towards a 300 blackout if I get one.

Eventually I should have a CMMG 9mm pistol, so I could try it out.

I am in for a couple forged, mainly just because I like the cause, but definitely don't think you can have too many stripped lowers sitting in the safe right now. I am not a billet fan, unless its something crazy unique and over the top which these billets are not. I also really want a folder just because its different, but I can't bring myself to buy one, I can't think of any use I would have for it and I really am not into the backpack gun idea.

Since it is something a little special I think I will do a dream build on one of them, buying all the pieces individually and specifically what I want instead of kits or sticking with one brand.
