"THIS SUPPRESSOR COMES WITH A RED WIPE INSTALLED BEHIND THE END CAP. DO NOT SHOOT HOLLOW POINT OR EXPANDING AMMO UNLESS THIS WIPE IS REMOVED FIRST!!! WHEN USING THE WIPE IN ANY CONFIGURATION, ONLY SHOOT FULL METAL JACKET AMMO (FMJ)!!!"

Ok, what's the deal with silicone (red wipe) in the end cap? How often do you have to replace this? Seems weird to me. Excuse me, I need to replace the "rubber" on my suppressor.

I have this mental image of replacing it anytime I change hosts for "safe" suppressing.

I am just not that enthusiastic about the design. I want something simple to use, while more flexible maybe, simplicity is best for me.

Naw, I would bet it is similar to the early wiped in gen1 cans. Think the old bowers mac10 cans. They sill still be quiet without replacing the wipes but are quieter with them replaced. This one sounds like it will keep your ammo from expanding.

Nope, exact opposite. It’ll cause your hollow points to expand as they’re going through/exiting the suppressor.
