Had an appointment with my cardiologist yesterday and she was quite pleased with my progress. All is going well since my electro cardio conversion. Still tweaking some meds and eliminating a few I no longer need.
I am so thankful for the good news.
On a side note please pray for the nerves in my right arm and hand. I have numbness and cold needle feeling in right thumb and trigger finger along with forearm. It is not uncommon to have some nerve damage due to the Central line that was placed in my upper right chest. Doc said it could take up to 18 months to get back to normal. That is a concern as I shoot pistol with that hand and do not see how I could do so at this point. ( I am left eye dominant and can shoot left handed if needed), I will just need to reacquaint myself with that and strengthen my left arm and hand, along with new holsters. Not to mention writing and typing is a challenge.
Please pray for a much faster nerve recovery time.

Let's hold on tightly to the positive side of what has occurred so far and celebrate it and we'll do some more praying on what's left to be done.
Absolutely. I have no complaints. I am truly blessed to be feeling and doing so well. Thank you for the continued prayers

I have neuropathy in my strong arm and hand. As well ad a bunch of other places from injuries and surgeries. Don't get discouraged. Nerves regenerate at some INSANELY slow rate. Like a millimeter or 2 every 6 months or so. Don't quote me because I don't remember exactly what he said but the bottom line was that it can take YEARS for nerve damage to resolve. Good news is that nerves are weirdos. Some days you won't have problems at all ...

Up until my accident in October I was still shooting regularly, even with my messed up strong hand. Take the opportunity to strengthen your weak hand shooting. Hope your problem resolves quickly.

Oh and as far as typing, the muscles in your hand will compensate pretty quickly -- especially if you type every day ... I can still type at 70-80 wpm even on the days I cannot feel my fingers on my right hand.

It's good to hear you are progressing!!

Thank you. I know things will get better and look at it as an opportunity to hone new old skills.
