I have a Weber Summit. It's been so great I haven't used the Weber Kettle I bought at the same time. Weber also sent me some parts free of charge when I had some issues. I bought a griddle for it but I've yet to use it.

BTW, I bought mine from one of those East coast discounters for way cheaper than you can buy anywhere else. I had no problems with the buying experience.

I've been using a pellet grill for a while and I love it for smoking, roasting, baking, etc. To me it's more of a smoker than a "grill". Also works great as a wood fired oven. Pizza and bread both are fantastic.
You CAN crank the heat up and sort of sear things but nothing beats direct heat of charcoal or wood for burgers, steaks, chops, yardbird.

I have a wood/charcoal smoker and a propane grill. Propane is so quick and convenient, I can cook after I get home from work. Both have a treasured place on the porch.

As for the propane grill, it's a Weber Genesis. Not the fanciest thing they make, but it's held up to lots of abuse and neglect. I think I've had it about 10 years.

Sure, I've replaced the grates a couple times and the little "tents" that cover the burners, but the burners are still original. The lower tray started to come apart after I made the apparent mistake of trying to clean it. But, all the parts are easy to find and not terribly expensive. I'd have gone through three Char-Broils by now.

We are using a third-hand Weber Genesis Silver that’s been handed down through the family, and it’s also seen a few parts replaced over the years. It’s been used a ton and has sat outdoors relatively unprotected most of its life and still looks decent for a grill of its age.

I have a Genesis Silver that I bought second hand about 12 years ago. The previous owner said it was about 2 years old. He had a new house and just built an outdoor kitchen. The one he installed wasn’t near the quality. I’ve replaced the starter and added a set of aftermarket “GrillGrates. The cover I bought for it is starting to show its age, but the grill still looks and performs great. I’ve only used it a few times since getting the Big Green Egg a year ago though.

This one has the Swampratt seal of approval.
