I think there may be operatives from a certain political persuasion that are trying to mess with people selling guns online for any various number of reasons to include frustrating you, tying up your time and pissing you off. It’s the rumor I’ve heard and really makes sense, if you think about what’s going on.
I like the mental gymnastics to assume that there's a call center in a clandestine location somewhere staffed by people of a certain political persuasion that are hired (or volunteer) to just call and frustrate random internet gun sellers on a random Oklahoma forum. I mean, they could be going after bigger fish like gunbroker or any of the auction sites, but they chose us.

.... or there's just crappy people in the world. I've not had issues with Armslist recently out of the 4-6 or something meetups in the last month.

The last time I tried to sale on there I had the same problems. Got contacted by a guy who wanted my pistol. So a day goes by and he never responds. Then another guy says he wants it and we start texting and I even spoke to him over the phone. We agreed on the price and where to meet. So the day we were supposed to meet he texts me with the old “ my girlfriend ain’t happy about it so I’m not gonna be able to”. I thanked him for wasting my time. Never again will I mess with that place. I just decided I ain’t selling none of my stuff. It’s too much of a hassle.

Are you talking OSA, Armslist, FB deals or all of the above?

I've never had a problem here except for one time with my first deal ever on OSA and that very popular member at the time is long gone now.

Years ago I would use Armslist occasionally but anymore I just don't want to deal with anymore idiots than I absolutely have to in life.

I have a friend that thinks FB marketplace is the best thing since sliced bread. I just don't get it.

Mostly here ... We did have one horse's ass on Armlist who got snitty with me over a question I asked and then later looked at Scott and tried to get him to buy some extra ammo he "just happened to have" ... Yeah right. Scott looked at me and then looked back at the guy and said "Yeah, no I don't think so." I asked him later why he didn't buy it and he said he didn't like the way the guy treated me on the phone or in person. Figured he'd rather take me out to a good dinner than give him another dime. (We did buy the gun.) I was like "Awwwww ... See?? You DO love me!! Lol"

I sure wish we had that ammo now. Haha! (But dinner was good! :) )

I don't remember if I had I've ever backed out of a deal before because I didn't research the item enough before I agreed to a buy but, I did this time and here is why. The scope was sold/made by a company that makes $8,000 scopes. With their name on it I didn't have any concerns. After ( my bad ) we agreed on a meet I researched reviews on the scope. It wasn't "reviews " that changed my mine, it was complaints. Several people I think it was on H&K pro that had bought the scope said they couldn't believe Hensoldt would put their name on such a pos scope. Not one posting on there had anything good to say about the scope. I emailed you early that morning and called your phone and left word on your voice mail later telling you I wasn't going to meet you way before the meet time. I don't see how this damaged you in anyway other than you may still have the scope. Again I apologize for not buying the scope. I think the reason you never mounted it on a gun was you bought it , found out what a piece of crap it was, and wanted to unload it. So yes I'm the guy that "welched" on a buy. I'm not the guy that knowingly tried to sell another member a pos.

Since you decided to put yourself out there, I didn't realize my new scope was a "POS" I went in a different direction and didn't need it, so I put it up for sale. It's just very disappointing that you would back out the day we were supposed to meet. To me, that's welching on a deal.
