Downsized and gave up my three car garage. New yard is pretty small but Mrs dlbleak said I can go as big as I want within Edmond code which is 200 feet with 8 foot sidewalls. I won’t go that big but looking at 10x15 interior. So, approximately 11x16 exterior with 7 foot sidewalls. The prefab units require 3 foot of working space, and while that is convenient, I don’t want to give up quite that much yard. The lot behind us hasn’t sold so the fence panels could be taken down if needed. Plus I might be able to talk to the neighbors to see if we could take those down for a day to get siding up.
The style will craftsman to match the house. I can paint, insulate and rock it. It will be a hangout as much as a shed.
If anyone is interested please pm me
Thanks

Have you looked it just buying one? We bought a 12' x20' with a barn style roof because I didn't have time to build one at the time.

Sounds like it may be a pain to get into his yard. Unless he can take that back fence down.

yes, looking for a slightly better quality. Not that the prefab ones are bad, I just can't find the right style.. I'd like to build on sight, I dont have the room to move one in. The Lowes and Home Depot outfits will build on sight but they need the 3 feet perimeter.

I am surprised that the city doesn't require a setback from the property line.

Me either here you have to be 5 foot from back or side property line and i think 30 feet from the front and that is from the dripline of the roof.

And they might. In that case, the dang thing might be in the middle of the yard.
