I just had an extreme lowball offer on a gun I have from sale on here from a newbie that's been on here a whole 7 days. He's on my ignore list now. I was tempted to tell him what he could do with his $150.

Haha. I was hoping that thread was going to be a good one after that lowball offer.

Is there a number or percentage that magically makes an offer a lowball? Or is that amount strictly in the mind of the seller?

Serious question, btw. Newbies often don't have the knowledge and/or experience most of you guys do.

Yes I seen that. And the ad specified no low ball offers and he did anyway. I wanted to say something but decided to respect your thread with unneeded comments.
I wonder sometimes just how much some of these guys think a hundred and fifty bucks really is these days when a good 2 pound slab of bacon runs 17.95. or a box of .300 is running 47 dollars.
Do these guys shop lately or what?

If they don't have the experience or know what something is worth, how do they know to low ball and not just pay the price that's posted? Lol, newbie yes, naive no, they know what they're doing.

With how easy it is to search the internet it’s hard to lowball as hard as that guy lowballed. It looked pretty insulting.
I understand that you feel lowballed and insulted. No argument here.

I'm just trying to figure out the tipping point between "no, thank you" and "you worthless lowballer" ...

If y'all can't (or won't?) name that point, how is someone else supposed to know?
