After misplacing the disc, I found it when I wasn't looking, and watched a 1955 sci-fi flick called Day the World Ended. I have always enjoyed this movie even though it was--to be kind--unrealistic. Eight people gather in a house in a post-nuclear war setting and the movie deals with who survives to the end.

Also, I finally got The Blob, with Steve McQueen. Enjoyed it.

Untraceable, (Diane Lane, Billy Burke, Colin Hanks) comes on at 1:00pm on The CW. Check local listings, as they're not always the same everywhere.

"FBI agent Jennifer Marsh is tasked with hunting down a seemingly untraceable serial killer who posts live videos of his victims on the Internet. As time runs out, the cat and mouse chase becomes more personal."

Hoping to watch it meself... :drunk2:

Just a heads up to anyone who might be thinking that 'Jui Jitsu' would be worth watching. It's not! Possibly the worst movie I've seen in several years. Terrible acting, story is beyond dumb, and I'm pretty sure it was directed and edited by a middle school A/V club. It's only worth watching to laugh at how awful it is!

I hate monster movies like King Kong and Godzilla. They're awful... but, King Kong vs Godzilla (or vice versa) was pretty good. No time wasted on character development, no deeper meaning in the story, just a good flick of two titans beating the hell out of each other. 8/10

I watched the 2012 version of Dredd not long ago. If you can get past the gore (seriously, they kind of went to town on that, don't watch it before or after eating), it's not a terrible flick.

ETA: corrected typo in year.

Yes Dredd (2012) is one of my favorites, I have it on 4K and 3D disc. Lots of great gore and violence, very entertaining, maybe not for the squeamish.
