USS Batfish is great, but their website says that the sub itself is closed due to damage from the 2019 flood. While their War Memorial Park is still worth seeing, the USS Batfish is the main reason for going.
But that's what gives it its charm!
They do have really good Sushi.
For BBQ, try Lukes BBQ on east Hwy 51 BETWEEN BA and Coweta.
Scratch Flo’s in Catoosa off the list; I just went up there for lunch to discover that they’re closed ‘til the 23rd for remodeling.

There is one on 11th Street down from Bama pie.
That'd be the one. I went there once, in the Before Times, and it was really good, but it's a bit of a trek to take on my lunch break.

If your gonna be on 11th Street just go a little further west to Ike's Chili. Get the Cincinnati style with spaghetti, beans, onions and chili.
