There are plenty of inexpensive adapters out there. I just got one for $70.
I'm trying to produce something that's a good value for the cost. Of course, as others said, the market will decide that. I did a strength test by mortaring my rifle and it has no play still. There's also a QD mount at the bottom of them. I'll put up some pics after I get a batch done!

If you could engineer a way to find a place to put a recoil spring in the bolt carrier where it could be fired folded, ala M1a1 carbine? I'd jump right in!

Pretty sure this can be done by using a pistol BCG, and a gap/slot on the stock where it would allow folding.

However... although 16" is the minimum legal length for a rifle barrel, overall length must be 26" (unless you plan on an SBR stamp).

Just something to keep in mind... :drunk2:

I'm interested in one
Since he hasn't posted anything else about it since April, I'm guessing the project went DOA. That's a shame. I tried it the Sylvan, but the plug is just barely pressure fit, and can/will fall out with the stock folded. No bueno.

On a $400 rifle build, I'm not spending another $400 for a damn adapter, that's ridiculous.... But I'm also not putting any Chinesium "wish" bs on it either. Until another option Comes out, it looks like I'll just have to take the extra 5 seconds it takes to match the upper and lower and throw the pins. *Shrug*
