Made a couple raised garden beds for the wife. Spit two 55 gallon food grade barrels, framed them with treated 2X4’s, then trimmed it out with red cedar.

Fire Pit in progress. Decided to go with two more rows of bricks and then around the outside with flagstone.
The darker brick are pavers from the streets of Guthrie. Well over 100 years old. Made in Coffeyville, KS.

Here are a few pic's of a small dam I built across a seasonal creek on my ranch....it lasted almost one month until we had a 4" monsoon which washed it away....Mother Nature always seems to win....that's a 4ftx16ft tinhorn to give you a idea of the size....I guess I might have worked if the dam was at least twice as thick....the entire interior of the dam was basketball sized rocks with smaller golf ball size rocks for filler with good ol Oklahoma red dirt and river sand on top.

Here is a picture of my 2nd attempt (I don't learn very easy) at constructing a dam...It lasted almost 2 months...another monsoon took it out....I used more rocks and filler the 2nd time.......I even added a rock spillway along with the tinhorn.....it wasn't meant to be....
