Anyone by chance have a dead Caldwell, mine took a header off my golf cart yesterday and the battery door launched itself into parts unknown. I contacted Caldwell only to be informed they do not have a service department or parts. Know it's a long shot but you never know. It still works OK just need a battery door.

Only problem with any tape is the sticky stuff it leaves behind. Right now just have the battery stuffed ln with friction holding it in place. If it becomes an issue I can always wrap a wire tie around it or use duck tape ha.

I have that exact chrono and I could possibly 3d print you a new battery door cover. Let me see if I can model the part first.

I have a printer but not good enough at cad to model it and have had some issues with thin parts, your help would be appreciated.

I can send you my STL files if you want to print it yourself. The model is not an exact match as I could not replicate the radius precisely, but the size and the raised "gasket" should be about right. You'll still need to use some tape to hold it on as the tabs that hold it in place are either not ideal for 3d printing or are hard to replicate.

Dimensions are: 62.15mm x 43mm x 2.75mm thick (including the raised "gasket").

GC7, what software are you using? I have been playing with the free version of DesignSpark but the learning curve is really steep. Thanks for what you did I will send you a PM with my email add.
