Check eBay for 30-30 dies. I recently bought a set of Redding 300 Win Mag dies and a Lee 300 WM crimp die there that I couldn’t find anywhere else online, and the prices weren’t any higher than what Midway showed them for.:anyone:
I'll look. I've been on the backorder list with several like Midway, Natchez and a couple of others that I've forgotten about to email me when they get back in stock. Natchez sent me a notification for some standard RCBS dies at $60 or so dollars plus shipping and handling. Screw them. I'll probably shoot that rifle a couple dozen times and it will be come a safe queen more than likely. It will have to kill a deer first though.

$60? I think I paid around $40 for my RCBS 30-30 dies several years ago. It might be worth it.

Natchez is well known for high shipping and handling prices. The total would have been almost $80 if I remember right to our door.
I could buy dies pre panic for around $40 or so off the shelf. I hate buying anything used like dies. Always new.

Prices for ammo I don't reload for are going to have to come way down in price before I'll buy any.
If it does get down to pre panic pricing, I'll start stacking even deeper.

Yeah, I'm proud of the ammo stash i have for the firearms I own. That being said when/if the prices get back or close to pre panic buying I will be dropping some serious coin on ammo. I will be getting everything from lots of 223/556, 9mm, 22LR, and a big stack of 357 and 38spc, 44mag, along with getting 1000 rounds of the Federal Fusion Hunting 223 ammo and 300+ rounds of the 30-06, 243, 7m-08 and 7mm Mag I have for my hunting rifles. I will also be stacking deep 12, 20 and 410ga in various loads and lots of 00 buck and slugs. I never want to be in a position where i second guess my stock of ammo and i want to be in a position to give familysome ammo if needed in a pinch. and to my son and his future family.

Dennis, I may have a set of 30-30 dies at the house I’m not using anymore. Let me look when I get home, I’ll let you know.
