Very cool find! You definately have to shoot it! There's no feeling like it. I have one from 1876 that I take out once in a while to fog mosquitoes. Black Powder only in that one please! Here's a pic of mine.

2 fidget year, so it could be 1875 or 1975. Jan 19. 75 and Jul 2. 72 I think it’s a separator
Those are patent dates. Pretty much all Colt SAA have those dates in that format. The Clone SAA usually only have the 1871 and 72 dates.
Says:
"PAT SEPT. 19, 1871
JULY 2, 72, JAN. 19, 75"
