I’m not sure if they’ve extended the unemployment beyond six months. And as far as I know a family of one gets that same amount. Unemployment doesn’t change based on your dependence. It’s based on yourself. Normal unemployment if you’re maxed out is over 400 a week. Because of the coronavirus stimulus or whatever they wanna call it for unemployment it was an additional 600 a week but it’s dropped down to 400 on top of the regular employment. So yes it’s 800-ish a week.
Here in Oklahoma, we never got the $400 a week--only the $300 Federal part. The feds wanted the state to kick in an extra $100 but Gov. Stitt said that since people receiving unemployment were already getting more that that from the state, he'd count that as the state's contribution--and in Oklahoma, that ends on June 27th, IIRC.

I had a very similar experience at the OKC NW HWY Wallyworld. It took over an hour to get anyone there to the gun cabinet. They absolutely would not let me put the bolt in ist vas verboten and they would not look in the back for the others they showed they had. It's a nonwritten conspiracy to keep gun from being sold to the public.
At my Walmart, we always had the bolt in the rifles. It helped that the department manager was a hunter and shooter himself, so he understood that prospective customers wanted to test the action. Besides, the rifles all had trigger locks on them.

A long long time ago I was asked to apply as the gun person at a new Walmart.
Everything sounded good until they wanted me to fill out a form like I was applying for a ffl.
Since I had just got rid of my ffl, I sure didn't want to apply for another and be listed as the responsible person.
Same with Bass Pro in Broken Arrow. Before they ever opened they wanted me to fill out ffl paperwork as the responsible person.

So I would assume that's the only person Wally world let's sell the guns and if they ain't there nothing gets sold.

You dont have to stop for the receipt Nazis...."May I see your receipt?" NOPE and keep on walking.
If they want to press the issue (which I've never had happen) present the receipt at Customer Service when you're returning all your ****.

Yup. I bought a couple batteries from them awhile back. Had to hunt someone down to help me, paid for the batteries, put them in the buggy, then had someone ask for my receipts as I headed out. "No you may not" was my reply.

If they want something to do, they can go open up a cash register and start checking people out, and cut those lines down. I really hate WM, but best deal on car batteries by far.

Receipt nazi? You do recognize that if Walmart did not creat that position, that individual would likely be drawing unemployment benefits. My life is never too complicated that letting them do their job is an inconvenience to me, or a reason to be rude.

There's a big jump from saying no, to being rude.

Just as easy to be polite and let minimum wage employee do the job they were told to do. Does it really take up that much of our highly valuable time?

#1 - Wal Mart pays over minimum wage.

#2 - If they'd been attentive, they'd know I paid for my stuff.

#3 - saying "no" isn't impolite.

Several years ago, I went into our Wally World and bought a 12-pack of beer. That's all. As I was headed out the door, I wadded the receipt up and tossed it in a trash can. THEN, a young lady walked up and asked to see my receipt. As I pointed at the trash can, I told her, 'It's in there if you want to look for it.' She decided she didn't really need to see it. I'm pretty sure she actually watched me toss it in the can.
