Exactly. I am not a fan of Walmart either and only shop there when needed. If I can not get something local for close to the same price and can not get it online, I shop Walmart. At times I have to get insulin there because they are cheaper than anyone else by a long shot. Also because of Oklahoma law I can not order my pen needles or syringes online and Walmart is far cheaper than anyone else for the same brands.

That said I do not buy guns at Walmart, or most clothes, groceries, etc.

I get my pen needles from Amazon. It’s kind of weird, you find some brands that say they don’t ship to Oklahoma, but 2 pens down the list, will ship.

not sure what brand I ordered last, but they ran 9.99 per 100.

Here in Oklahoma, we never got the $400 a week--only the $300 Federal part. The feds wanted the state to kick in an extra $100 but Gov. Stitt said that since people receiving unemployment were already getting more that that from the state, he'd count that as the state's contribution--and in Oklahoma, that ends on June 27th, IIRC.
I didn’t know that. Last year I had multiple telling me that people were getting an extra 600 a week on top of their 400 for unemployment. Four grand to stay home is definitely incentive to not work

The max in Oklahoma is around 525.00 for state. So last year when the layoffs started, people could get the max plus the 600. My son was making 1120.00 a week for a few weeks until he found another job.

Daaaam. I didn’t know it was up to 525. So 4500 a month to stay home. No wonder people can’t get help

It's not that much anymore, but yes, my mother last year got the $600 weekly bonus for a while.

Guess what that $600 is....? $15 @ 40 hours a week... yeah, they keep pushing that as a 'normal' number for any job of any skill level.

Printing money out of thin air unless they found a magic money tree or the goose that lays gold eggs. Hearts and minds. Buying future votes with our grand or great grand kids money.
