OU won't be the big dog in the SEC that is for sure, I can them losing a lot more games than they do now and being left out of the playoffs because they can't compete with Bama, LSU, Georgia, Auburn Florida. That conference takes football more seriously than anyone in the Big 12. I can see any conference wanting Texas because of all the money they bring to the table, OU is a big name and brings that but in reality it's been over 20 years since they have won anything besides the conference championship, maybe they will go out and win it all this year but I'm not betting on it. I don't think that it would be a good move for OU because they pretty much already have it made it here in the Big 12, win the conference every year and then go into the playoffs and make tons of money, seems to be working and I don't know why they would want to screw up Bedlam and the Red Shootout game to go the SEC and be a middle of the pack team, Texas A&M spends more money than OU and there just another team there in the SEC playing second fiddle to the big boys.

Well OU has already beaten Auburn and Florida the last couple years and put 50 points on Georgia losing in overtime. OU is probably the only school that can go toe to toe with Alabama. Riley is recruiting at a very high level also.

I don't believe OU can go toe to toe with Saban and Alabama, why does OU get beat in the playoffs every year? It's been a severe lack of defense for like 15 years now, those SEC teams will eat them up if they don't get that straightened out sooner than later which is does look there headed in the right direction, but I bet Grinch bale's and gets a head job somewhere before they get really good and start shutting people out like the Stoops brothers and did in the early 2000's. They have the offense but that's proven not to win national titles several times now. The complete teams win and most SEC teams are complete, they just play more physical with better players than any team OU plays here in the Big 12. Look where about 75% of the NFL players come from. As far as recruiting Riley does a helluva job getting quarterbacks but when I start seeing NFL quality Defensive Ends and Linebackers and Cornerbacks show up at OU year after year I will believe they have a legit shot at winning a national title, all those players are in the SEC right now not in the Big 12 and I don't believe they will come here unless there paid very well!

I think this deal is very close to being done. It won’t be a hard sell for OU to get into SEC.

Get ready for the surprise, OSU won’t be part of the deal. They will eventually land in Pac12 and be a contender every year.

Texas…….. well they SEC will force the weakest member of the no votes to flip and get to 11 approvals. I agree they have more drama issues than vogue magazine, but the bottom line is this. Wherever they go they put butts in the seats which means paid attendance. And at the end of the day sales (revenue) cures all.
I hope you are right about the PAC 12 and OSU!

The Big 12 went 5-0 in bowl games last year including beating the SEC. For 2022 OU has the #5 recruiting class including two 4* LB, a 4* DL, and a 4* IOL. Grinch is finally getting his players in his system.

I do not see OU dominating the SEC like they do the Big 12, they haven't won a national title in 20 years which I think is the longest dry spell in school history, they had all these Heisman winners and conference championships and still can't pull it off. Every year seems like the shoot themselves in the foot by getting beat by K-State or Iowa State because Riley gets out coached, I don't think Saban would lose to either one of those teams ever if he did he would fire everybody. I just think if OU decides to go they will regret it.
