What lake?

I'll be looking for one in the not so distant future but it'll be after all this nonsense is over. Looking hard at Grand (Langley or Disney) or maybe even over in Arkansas.

My place is in Carlton Landing on Eufaula.
We looked at about every lake but CL is very different and we fell in love with it.

Why didn't you entertain more offers?
Gun, car, tools, house...it doesn't matter to me. If my name is attached to it I want to make sure the value is right. My property was priced accordingly and that is what I expected. I was not going to deal with a bidding war or turn down full price offer hoping a better came along. Besides my house only showed 3 times in ten days because it required pre-approved funding before showing.

We went and visited my Aunt and Uncle at their house on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Arkansas last weekend. Love going there and their house is massive. Never asked how much it cost but thinking at least 2 million. And there are houses much much bigger than theirs on this lake.

There's an article on the web today by vice that says big tech are the ones buying.
They were talking each of the companies figured they could flip 5000 houses a month at around $33k profit per house.

It was a VA. Her realtor finally got a response last night from listing agent. "Sellers decided to go another way".
Tough Market either way, VA has great loan programs. Houses many times sell withing hours of listing to out of state buyers. 1st day of showing typically yields 4 to 5 offers. Even worse, many offers are property management companies for homes in the 125K to 200K range.
