Ahhh the Fiero ......... cool looking little pieces of junk!! Brother had one and he spent way too many hours keeping that pile of bolts going !! He finally gave up and went Mustang !!
I had an '85 that looked just like the one in the video. It was great to watch him repair/restore it. I liked mine though. Bought it new and sold it 6 years later. Only had one issue, the transmission developed a shifting problem but it was covered under warranty. It was a blast to drive and cornered like it was on rails. Even did well in the snow since it was a mid-engine. However it wasn't fun to take on long road trips with that sporty suspension.

My brother loved his for the exact reasons you did just couldn't keep it running . Eventually he ended up with a RX8 because of the cornering ability .

Very informative and very knowledgable electronics repair but his slow speech pattern bores the ever-loving crap out of me.

This guy goes through the schematics and traces down the problems cars and trucks have and can diagnose about any vehicle.

Here, but occasionally There.
When we were in Oregon, the owners of the retreat center where we volunteered suggested we contact this guy that was a mechanic to work on one of the retreat's vehicles. Come to find out, the guy's primary knowledge of mechanics was from YouTube videos.

We later had to have a wrecker service to haul the vehicle to town to be fixed after he messed something up. Ended up costing the retreat over $700 to fix the issue.

As for me, I've learned much from YouTube, but more along the lines of intellectual stuff than mechanical stuff.
