What do we have here? Butt fused HDPE pipe, that's much easier to fuse aboveground with a purpose-specific wheeled machine? Then once it's fused and pressure tested, this is how it's dropped into a ditch?

Done that plenty of times with plain old pvc conduit. 4”-6” mainly. A lot easier to assemble on top of the ditch. The stinker is when a greenhorn accidentally kicks it in before your ready
