I can't determine if he should have been commuted or not since I am not privy to the evidence. But based on Sherrick13's post above
He should not have been commuted. The board in my opinion feared reprisal or rioting in OKC. Regardless, it goes to Gov Stitt and he'll either take the political route or make the right choice. It'll be interesting t see what he decides.

Since Stitt already notified the feds that OK will accept afghanis, I'm guessing ............ political route?

He probably needs killin', but I no longer trust the government enough to carry out such things.

Too many instances of innocent guys being convicted, only to later find out the truth.

I am in no way saying that's the case here, just saying life is a better sentence, period.

So what do you guys think?
Did they get it right?
We must trust our legal system, as imperfect as it is. The alternative is total chaos. I'm far more concerned about the news, and social media, deciding someone is guilty, or innocent, beause that is the most synsational story, and would produce the best ratings, and influencing society to the point no one can possibly get a fair trial! The recent trial of the cop in Minneapolis is a perfect example! I don't know if he was guilty, or not, but he did not have any chance of getting a fair trial, in that circus inviroment!

I think our legal system has been infiltrated and debased. It's not what the victims want nor the courts, it's the rabble. When this guy gets paroled or most any murderer or rapist, they get out and commit the same crimes. We've all read or heard on the news the recidivism rate...
