Wife is out of the house so I picked up some 2x4's and going to build my work bench. It will be just short of 12' wide, 2' deep and 37" high. I'll top the skeleton fram with 2 2x6's and 2 2x8's . That will give my a 4" overhang in front if I need to clamp something. I have an old antique (made of good cast Iron and solid as a rock) It's a Milwaukee number 55 heavy duty swivel bold down vice with small anvil. I'll completly break it down, sand, prime paint and make it look like a new penny.
Have to get after it because the wife and dog will be back soon so I need to get the frame built and attached to the wall/put support legs and level.
This will be fun. I know this is of no interest to anyone but me, but here's the before picture

Like the pipe stretcher the driller told me to get at 3am across waiste deep frozen water and given a 150 lb chain to carry back as "the pipe stretcher". It sucked being a worm. Ha

WRONG!!! I'm interested! Just take care of yourself, young man. Don't overdo it!!!
Thanks. I'll post the finished product and leave it up for a short bit. I've already got 3 dings...ha. I'll post it on some other places for a short time as well. I just get a kick out of getting projects done.
