As a rule, cities with larger populations tend to lean more anti-gun while rural areas and small towns tend to lean more pro-gun. Why is there this disparity in gun rights attitudes in regards to population density? This seems rather ironic to me. After all, one is much more likely to be a victim of a violent crime in a big city than way out in the boonies and hence the need for law-abiding Americans in inner cities to be armed for personal security is even stronger there.

Were America's founding fathers thinking about geopolitics, population density and demographics while drafting the Second Amendment? I doubt it highly. There's seems to be no clause in the 2nd A which differentiates the level of need to keep and bear arms in the city as opposed to the suburbs or the county or the country. Is there a widespread big-city mentality that "there are enough cops to protect you" on every street corner inside the city limits of a large important town no matter what?

Some people also have this disturbing unhealthy mindset that guns are "only for the government authorities or good ol' boys out in the sticks."

The 2nd A says the RIGHT of the PEOPLE (not the right of GOOD OL BOYS, COUNTRY BUMPKINS, THE POLICE or THE MILITARY) to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. POLICE, MILITARY, BUMPKIN, COWBOY, FARMER, RANCHER, JEWELRY STORE OWNER, BANKER, RICH PERSON, ARMORED CAR DRIVER, JUDGE, SHERIFF, RETIRED PEACE OFFICER and GOVERNMENT are not words enumerated in the 2nd A.

Some folks believe in error that gun ownership and carry is for "privileged occupations" and other "privileged demographics". Make no mistake about it: gun ownership is a right for The People, not a privilege for a few.

Easy! Folks out of "civic hell" called big cities are more self reliant. They know it might be hours before help arrives. The folks in cities rely on all sorts of support daily....kinda like a flat tire means a call to AAA. They are not used to taking care of stuff for themselves even though they are in need of a different mind set than that.

I'm not obsessed with homosexuality. I do know for a fact that at least 1,500 species of animals have been observed in nature participating in same-sex matings. I don't believe anybody who says same-sex attraction is "not natural". This type of mating predates all forms of monotheistic religion. This orientation was normalized during the pagan times of ancient Europe. The Christian era, influenced by prudish old women, has made this type of love relationship taboo since the fall of the Roman Empire. Man-made government and man-made religion in many ways goes against the grain of Mother Nature. Mother Nature is "evil". Mother Nature is "naughty". That's all.

I've always been pretty much a live and let live sort of person, so when it comes to things like homosexuality, gender pronouns, CRT, politics, religion, and a host of other 'differences', as long as 'ya don't try to make me ride the same horse or in the same way as you do, we'll get along just fine 😁

When I was a little boy I did many natural things which grown-ups deemed naughty behavior like run around in class out of my desk and climb up on the glass roof of an old woman's greenhouse thus breaking the glass. I stepped on the roof with one foot and the glass cracked. Thankfully, I did not fall through and get hurt. The glass roof was painted white and did not appear obviously as glass like a clear window pane. It could have been a tin roof for all I knew then. It did have some metal or wood framework underneath it. But I digress. My mother, usually having me tied to her apron strings, allowed me to go unattended for a moment at the nursery and I was tempted to climb up on that roof to get a better peek at the big world. Boys are always tempted to climb up on stuff to the anger of many an adult. The old woman was the nursery's owner and I got a spanking from both her and my mother at age 4. This was way back in 1968. 53 some odd years ago! Nowadays, the woman would have been put in jail and sued for spanking a minor.
