Well I guess we get what we deserve. I try to do business with the common folk, not rich but these fortune 500 companies are only after your dollars IMO.

Once they drive the common mans companies out they jack the prices WAY up just like Walmart that refuse to match their own in store price.

Maniorty? Please that’s the 99% that wont pay a dollar more while destroying the small business mans dreams.

Easy until it’s gone then first to complain🤑

We’re where we’re at because of this thinking not that I don’t buy from these companies since most of the time now days they’re the only one that has them in stock or they are given the sweet heart deals.

Now who’s gettin trashed🤣🤣🤣🙂🤣🤣. No disrespect except your the hammer they count on.

I try, but it doesn't work out a lot. So....Amazon it is quite often for me.

Case in point, needed an HDMI to Display adapter yesterday. Check online with BB, and they say the have it. Mind you, it's $15..... $8 on amazon. So I go down to BB and they are out of stock, the website was inaccurate. I picked up something else I needed, and try to proceed to check out, they pointed me to customer service, therefore, I had to wait to checkout with people returning items. Nah.... Got back to the office and ordered my adapter (should have in the first place) and it will be here today.

Another example, wifey wanted a particular Arc'teryx jacket, tried locally to find it, multiple places. The place with the most stock seemed almost disinterested for an order request. Didn't trust the process or the individual from the vibes I was getting. Went home and ordered exactly what I wanted last Sunday, it was here Wednesday.

I mean, I try, but with the staffing pressure and such your high horse is a bit unrealistic.

JD8 a web search is your friend. I find eBay (trash) beats Amazon’s prices mosts of the time and they don’t require you to buy 4 of your items to get free shipping. I usually end up with crap I may need vs what I need.

Try claiming a warranty when that cheap junk goes bad, I’ve had better luck with the non Fortune 500 companies. Many mom and pops will go though the pain for you, not so much the Amazon or Walmart of the world. JMO

In your momma’s bedroom.
I try and buy vegetables from the farmers market.
I buy my beef/pork from a buddy who raised them.
I try to be conscious of local craft manufacturers and try to support them.

Pretty much past that you’re just paying someone else to buy from the big corporations and pass on their profits for doing it to you.

I gave in awhile back. Use Amazon, Chewy, Spa Depot, and even Walmart delivery occasionally.
Nothing wrong with that. I do too, my iPad or smart phone cable goes bad and I need it fast, too bad that $8 cable has to be ordered with $25 of other goods to make it cheaper than local.

Truly I understand they’ve driven out the Radio shacks of the world and the big box stores want you to order and pick it up.

Hey quite your job they’ll pay ya, much more convenient until they don’t JMO.

unfortunate but what we have come to. can't get service at the store there so under staffed the people care or walk the other direction when they see you coming. ordering online is much easier pretty much trouble free and usually cheaper. especially if you dont have time to run around town. we have done it to ourselves.

When a company like Amazon can’t answer the phone I’m not sure what to say. Except yout local vendors will and many times it’s the owner that has skin in the game.

As leading a help desk as part of my job functions, some company that can’t answer the phone and your on hold forever is far from trouble free.

How is it that Sears didnt take this position? They already had the inventory, distribution, local wearhouses and their inventory was cataloged, just put the cataloge on line and you have it.
Lack of forsight?

come on really your company may be a rare one but we are talking retail stores and you can't call one anywhere and expect to get help if you can even reach someone.
