We just moved from Kansas.. Where I had 3500 acres.. To the middle of the damn city..

Yeah maybe.. I'm not very good at social encounters if I'm being entirely honest..

Online is entirely different.. But I have crippling anxiety and living in the city it's hard to even walk out my door most days unfortunately..

Man that’s a bummer, well I’m a bit a social butterfly myself lol, but I’m still fairly new here and everyone I’ve met in person have truly been great! I’ve even made some friends I talk to pretty much every day now, so if there’s any online group who could help you get over the anxiety this is it! I wish you luck with it!

Thanks man.. I don't talk about it much cause mental health in males is still very very taboo.. I was a social butterfly too.. Until a couple car wrecks, my dad dying and and a few other things.. One day at a time I guess.

Look at it this way, meeting people online first takes that initial pressure of what to talk about, down a notch. You don't have to respond instantly with something witty, you can take your time. When you do meet the person, you already have a few things to talk about. I swear I sound like I'm giving dating advice on a gun site, but the principle is the same. We do eat-n-shoots periodically where a bunch of us go to a range and then out to lunch after. I've been to one of those so far and enjoyed it and then Ed invited me to his shoot last weekend, which was a blast. Stick around and you will meet people.

Anxiety is very treatable, if that's what it is. It takes some work, but just about any competent counselor can help you.

I don’t think too many on here would look down on you for that sort of issue. We’ve all had stuff happen in our lives, and everyone copes differently. Just don’t ask anyone to use gender neutral pronouns they’ll FLIP! Lol

Ugh..

Thats definitely not me.. I know what bathroom to use and I believe in 2 genders only..
