I still say those who say that EVERYTHING is overpriced and there's no point in going, have shoe stringed themselves into only wanting ONE thing so if you don't find that ONE unicorn for way under market value, its not worth it. Each time I've gone with a want list of a few things, it has been worth going. Granted, I don't look for the newest fad in town and have somewhat obscure tastes, but I say you're either too narrowminded for a big show, or not looking at everything. Even tables with MOSTLY expensive stuff can overlook a gem and bam, you're in business.

Having an eye for the cool stuff and knowing values is essential at a show like Tulsa, deals can be found, I almost bought a Glock 29 10 mm for $400 with 4 mags
^This. Do not go to a show like this looking for great deals on popular modern firearms. You may find some good deals on those items, but rare to find great. (Unless you catch someone walking around with something to sell) The good to great prices are typically on the older or oddball stuff.

While most ammo is still expensive, I am finding a few tables that have 9mm for .38 to .40 a round. So far have walked about 20% of the upper level and seeing a few "decent" deals, but still seeing a lot of ridiculous pricing. Still fun to look at everything and might give me an idea of aomething I will purchase, just will find it at a cheaper price.

It's just TOO much for me!

I'm glad that it exists for several reasons and I understand why some go to it every time and look at everything but...

I have a very limited gun budget so usually there is just not that much I am looking to buy and what I am looking for is what is in high demand and over priced.

I'm not willing to sort through a maze of 4000 tables to find that one deal on ammo, mags, or on a firearm I'm in the market for.

I understand why some want to go look even though they aren't buying just to experience the show or get out of the house but that's not for me. Maybe thirty or forty years ago, but certainly not anymore.

I also don't enjoy being on my feet all day and dealing with crowds in general so even if I was looking to buy several things I doubt that I would go anymore.

If anyone is at the show, would you please go to the main entrance on the upper level and send me the name of the leather worker that has the Bible covers and holsters displayed? I lost the business card I picked up yesterday. It is the entrance nearest the “Driller.”
Thank you in advance.

These are not the firearms you're looking for.
