I'm itching to build another AR. For some reason all of a sudden a 9mm AR sounds like a good idea.

I have a couple of stripped lowers and a couple of LaRue MBT triggers laying around but I need the rest of the parts.

I'm thinking of getting something like this for an upper. What do ya'll think?

I know there are different options for the lower as far as mag adaptors. I want to be able to use Glock mags I guess. Any suggestions as far as lower set ups go?

Thanks!

I picked up one of their complete lowers on sale from Brownells a couple of years ago. Then bought that exact upper later. I like it pretty well it did take a bit to get broken in and I had some feeding issues with fully loaded 33 round Glock mags. After putting a couple hundred rounds through it, it runs great. Foxtrot mike complete lower and upper.

You can use one of your lowers, and a magwell adaptor to adapt to glock mags. Better idea is to get a dedicated lower as others have mentioned. Doing a 9mm direct blowback and you need a heavy buffer, so more pressure on the trigger. As such they usually recommend triggers specifically for 9mm. I can hook you up with a cmc single stage 9mm trigger. I have cmmg roller delayed so I can go regular triggers as I can use normal buffers.
