Sorry to tell you but this is not a 2A board. Plenty of gun owners on this board that want more restrictions on gun rights. I’m not one of them. I just believe we have the ability to have a nice single payer system and the more people are squeezed out of the current system the more we need it.

This is a discussion board, sometimes things won’t “bode well“ with some. Oh no!

Sure there are people that don't realize they have those types of tendencies here or there. Sometimes people may not see the forest for the trees. In the same sense you don't like being called a socialist, however you're trying to push for the same healthcare talking points that previous socialist presidential candidates tried to push on us? It is what it is right?

Either way, I don't feel like you speak for the majority here with regards to this board not being 2A. It would be interesting to see a thread to allow members to speak for themselves, maybe I'm wrong?

or some has family members who are law partners.

Time has always been a way to end lawsuits, it costs a lot.

Everyone has attorney friends and family. Nearly every bad faith claim case I've seen was on a contingency basis so that mitigates the cost.

However, one has to realize, insurance companies are not the only solution to healthcare before we get far down that red herring.

I agree, I’ve had nothing but poor luck with healt insurance companies. I literally have scars thanks to hmo back in the early 90s when you couldn’t sue them. I know I’m biased.

Now, most health insurance companies have arbitration clauses in them, good luck suing if you need to. Insurance companies have no reason to change unless they have to compete.

I think if we removed state borders, had catastrophic plans like insurance is meant to be and they no longer covered basic services it would bring the cost down.
Insurance traditionally wasn't meant to cover everything. When it does the third parties get to decide how much stuff costs. That removes you from the pricing decisions.
Imagine auto insurance covering oil changes. The inefficiency that gets introduced is high. Would you ever hire someone to negotiate your oil changes and also expect them to be cheaper? Best case would be that you are paying the same plus the fee of the third party. I know this is simplified but sometimes it helps to break it all down to understand what is going on.

Overtime the customer has lost control over their own decisions and now expects a third party to negotiate the price. The insurance companies, doctors, and government want you to think it is overly complicated so you give up. They create the problem so you can pay them to fix it. Healthcare shouldn't be any different than other industries that have insurance. It isn't some magical problem only they can fix. They just want you to think it is.

Just my opinion.

Just my opinion.

Where do you think we are heading in this country in regards to fuel costs?

Brace yourself this winters heating bills are going to hurt.

Coal has already hit a all time high of $100 per ton.

Fertilizers that farmers buy in the winter for spring crops have increased by over 50%, so that means they buy less fertilizer and grow less crops or buy the amounts they always have but charge more for the crops, either way next year expect to see even higher prices at the grocery stores.
Thank you brain dead biden. We have only one person to thank for those price increases and that is biden. FJB.
Trump had those at historical lows with the US being energy independent and an exporter in 4 years. biden has fawked it up in less than a year.
