Story here: SAFETY WARNING! Worn Leather Holsters Can Cause Accidental Discharges! How's that?
How's that?
He’s not wrong, know many instances where bad/cheap and thin leather holsters have been the cause of accidental/ Negligent discharges
I'm not sure I'd consider Galco a bad or cheap holster brand. The instance I cited was clearly operator error in failing to replace a holster he knew to be worn. Leather holsters are great, but they can have a service life. He’s not wrong, know many instances where bad/cheap and thin leather holsters have been the cause of accidental/ Negligent discharges
Didn't see that was a Galco, I was speaking more to some of the cheap uncle mikes etc, but yes the leather ones, (I used to run the Bianchi) definitely have a service life.I'm not sure I'd consider Galco a bad or cheap holster brand. I’m a whore for a good leather holster, but for IWB my favorites are the crossbreed, leather against your body with kydex shell on the gun. Here’s one for your 43: The Reckoning Holster
I run one of their dual clip models for my Mk25 and it is great!
Nice!just ordered a crossbreed. Saw one left in stock on sale on Midway so I snagged it.
