Back in 90s, I had a crew doing instrument repair and recalibration. All of us carried a pager. Going into the refineries and some other plants, no pagers were allowed.
I made the techs put the pagers on vibrate and in their pocket.

Would wait until one was calibration a 1000v meter and dial his pager. Had several screwdrivers stuck in ceilings.

I know it's an old thread but Chris bumped it and I'm sitting in a dark, rather chilly house right now so here goes ...

Hired this guy to come put in a new box and an outlet for the new freezer that should have been delivered yesterday (that's for a thread all it's own 😡😡😡) ... Anyhooooooo ...

My neighbor the contractor was remodeling the kitchen (fired him in the middle of his job -- that is also for another thread 😡😡😡). This work included putting in a new stove. Today I find out that he wired my electric oven/stove to the same wire that was run to the outlet which our toaster and coffee pot are plugged in to. Not a big deal?? Well I guess it wouldn't have been except the outlet is 20 amp and the stove is 50 amp. It is my most fervent wish that that SOBs house burns down while he's cooking dinner some evening. Lazy bastard. I couldn't live with myself if I'd done something like that. You don't **** around with electricity. Dammit. Ok. There. I said my piece. I gotta put my boots on and get on to work.

Oh ... And btw ... Watch your vehicles. A co-worker, who parks about halfway between the store and 7-11 out in our parking lot had her catalytic convertet stolen last night while she was at work. 😡😡😡 ****ing thieves ... 😡😡😡

Replaced all the plugs and switches in my house with Levitton. Bend wire and screw down.

Not that there was an obvious problem, but they were 55 years old. Plugs were 2 prong, now 3.
If so, I hope you ran new grounds if there weren't any in the boxes and grounded them good with 6 foot copper ground rods instead of the copper plumbing like my old house.
