Received this from Atwoods today via email. As a public service to fellow OSA members, here is a suggested response to your significant other if they question your firearm purchase: "I know the guns aren't shoes, Honey, but I saved money in the same way you do when you tell me how much you saved."

Funny, years ago, about 2005 or so, Atwoods ran a sale on Liberty gun safes. I do not recall all the deals, but it was a Black Friday deal, and approval of an Atwoods CC, and some bring this coupon in deal - I dunno, but it was a pile of things and none of there were a - this deal doesn't work if you use other deals. I was buying a 24-gun Liberty safe that retailed for like 1200$ back then and getting it for like, I dunno, 200$ - it was frigg'n nuts. The manager caught wind of it because the guy loading it was laughing and bragging about my deal. So, the GM came out and called BS and said, "no sale - I have more in that safe than that, not doing it!" The cashier gal rang me up took my new Attwoods CC outta my hand, ran it and told the GM, a deal is a deal. He said, "I ought to fire you!" She said, "ya, you do that". The GM walked away pouting, and I told her Thank You, thank you very much, and handed her a 50. Still have the safe today.

I remember an old newspaper cartoon where Dagwoods wife told him she saved $1000 when shopping that day
The $2000 fur coat was half price!

In 1976 at a White's general store I think it was called back then Remington offered a $20.00 coupon off firearms in the local paper. It was suppose to be the higher end firearms but when they placed the coupon in the paper they omitted that part. White's was offering double off coupons, I had dad purchase 3 Remington nylon 66's that I paid $11.95 each after coupon before they shut us down.

So Atwood’s firearms are 15%, but you have to use the savings in their store.

Curious if anyone will spend $13,333.33 in firearms to get the $2000 max in gift cards.

My wife likes to buy birdseed. Sometimes she buys it from Atwoods. I'm thinking this would be a REALLY nice way for me to giver her $2000 worth of free birdseed. Sometimes I am just real generous like that.... :rollingla

If she finds out, that birdseed she buys will become dog food that you will be eating while living in the dog house!
