I don't know but man do I like it, looks like a well thought out utilitarian design. Looks like some copy of a Bulldog. But, its gonna be a handful being a 44 with that type handle.

That is an odd pistol. I like it too. I'd guess 3rd world maker. Orwellian at least. I would love to see what it looks like disassembled.
Every thing is a bit different. Trigger, grip....all...very cool. Thanks for showing it.

A friend of mine has a son that traded a broken down motorcycle for the pistol and a savage double barrel shotgun with double hammers, has a broken firing pin.

I have seen revolvers similar to that before. I believe it is a early 1900s cheap pocket pistol. One of those "Hotter than a $2 dollar pistols" you hear about. Probably in 44 American.

I love guns like that. I found one a few years ago, that was made by an Afghani or other alley gun maker. Grip was carved wood and you had to advance the cylinder by hand and lock it in place by a pin that once had a spring on it like a shell ejector on a revolver. It had zero makers marks. It was owned by a guy I knew that got in in trade for some old pup tents or some crap. We took it apart and looked but nothing. There were lots of marks where you could see it was hand filed. It had rifling...kinda. Best we could tell it was a 40 cal because that's the only thing that would fit....almost.....Ha. No chance of shooting it. Neither one of us were that dumb or drunk.
The grips were wood but not like any wood I'd ever seen. Sort of like pine but very white and hard.
Wish I knew what happened to it.
Anyway, I haunt a lot of pawn shops but you rarely find anything good or interesting anymore. Even the estate sales are fixed. Auctioneer has sucked anything good up and the bids on the normal stuff starts 25 % above what they're worth.
