My wife just tested + for covid. 100% sure she caught it from a coworker who was sick but still came to work and refused to get tested. Now at least 5 people have tested + including my wife with another 4 out with possible covid and/or other respiratory illnesses. I'm starting to feel congested in my chest and a few things are tasting off (but other things taste fine. Had a bagel with cream cheese that tasted like the chemical smell from a new oven being turned on for the first time yet my iced coffee tasted fine). Wife has a persistent dry cough, on and off chills, very tired and has had headaches. Tested last week and was negative, tested this morning and is positive. Hopefully this will be the worst of her symptoms. I'm going tomorrow to get tested.

Hopefully this omnicron variant will burn through and turn this into an endemic as it seems to care none about the vaccine.

Thanks. I'm more concerned about my wife as she is Type II diabetic and usually symptoms of stuff hit her harder. So far the symptoms have been mild, but she also has sinus drainage from allergies (like most of us in OK right now) so that is compounding it.
My mother is a diabetic and 79 years old. She caught it in 2020. Vitamin C and Zinc do help. She has no lasting symptoms and still works part time at her church. I'm sure prayer helped.

My first week or so was so mild that I didn't realize I was sick. Then I had several days of really REALLY bad body aches, headaches, fever and concerning O2 numbers. Given the fact that my PCP and I had discussed using IVM way before I ever got sick, I did exactly what we had discussed and started dosing with IVM on top of the vitamin supplements that I was already taking.

Be careful and do not assume that just because things are mild now it will stay that way. I literally went from not bad at all to unable to stand without help inside a couple of hours. It was pretty scary just how fast it hit me when it did.

All that said, I hope that is not y'alls experience and it's over with soon.

I'm really getting tired of wondering "when" it's gonna catch up to me. I know it will and the suspense is killing me. :cry3:

I'm one of those weirdos who took the vaxx and a booster but still believes we should all have the choice and if you don't want it that's OK. I did it more for my wife and Corgis than myself in hopes that WHEN I do catch it the symptoms won't be too bad and I can still function and care for my family.

I have high blood pressure (genetic) and diabetes...though I keep that well under control thru diet. I take a immune system booster every day that has zinc, D, C, and lots of other stuff that's supposed to be good.

@THAT Gurl Did your doc give you an RX for the ivermectin or did you get it from Atwood’s or somewhere similar? My wife has been fairly sick but I just a headache and the sniffles this far. I may run to Atwood’s but literally have no idea what to buy LOL

I got it at TSC before the rush. But ... I also discussed the use of IVM and FLCCC's protocol with my PCP way back when this whole mess got started. He read over everything I gave him and said he saw nothing wrong with it if that was the way I wanted to go. He told me then that if I got sick he would follow my care and if it looked like I was gonna need antibiotics or steroids he would be glad to write me the scripts.

My advice would be to read over FLCCC's website and contact a doctor through there who can video conference with you and write you the Rxs you may need. It's gonna be more efficient for you that way -- especially if you don't have any experience calculating dosages. Plus, that stuff doesn't exactly taste all that great. 😣 Lol
