and to be sure, the monoclonal antibody treatments that had been effective were/are not an option for you?
The dr. didn't mention them and I didn't think to ask. Probably should have.
I've read that the IV treatments can get really expensive. This drug didn't cost me anything.
The ivermectin prescription was going to be about $140.
The money wouldn't matter if I thought I was headed towards deaths door, I guess I'm not that worried yet.

Prayers for a speedy recovery!

We both got it over NYE and wife got the antibodies, I didn’t qualify but it didn’t matter we are pretty much neck and neck as far as recovery. Almost identical rate of recovery for both of us.

We found that Delsym has worked the best for the persistent cough.

I am not a Dr. but have posts on my extensive research and real life usage of Ivermectin in humans for 40+ years after having covid then taking the first Phizer shot which put me back the same symptoms as "long haul covid" with amazing first hand results of taking Ivermectin. At time I could only get in 1.87% horse paste form, like many animal drugs first developed for humans then later produced for animals which includes corn oil, soup thickner, and apple flavoring for easy FDA approved treatment for horses and other animals.

Take a look at the FLCCC website for more information on Ivermectin. It works for covid, flu, and the common cold and many other illnesses. Ivermectin has a 40+ year of almost spotless history of no more researched side effects than common aspirin.

Yes it works but was banned even being talking about its success in the USA but very successful in the rest of the world that was not under FDA, WHO, or big pharm thumbs.

I personally would re-talk with your Doctor and see if you can find a pharmacy that will fill you a prescripton or go to a local farm and ranch store and fill it yourself as inexpensively and as quickly as you can. It is very easy marked out in 50lb dosages, 1250lbs worth in an $10 or less tube. It takes 8-10 times normal dosage to cause any problems which if incurred would subside in two days. (It has a half life in your system of 24 to 38 hours. Undetectable with todays technology in 11 days.
40+years of human history, 20+ years of million doller race horse history. Again, no repetable adverse side effects as bad as tylonol. JMO Good luck to you.

I've followed the ivermectin info very closely here and other sites including the FLCCC for over a year, so I'm familiar with that.
I had a prescription ready to pick up as a backup in case I couldn't get the molnupiravir, that's how I know is was $140.
I made the decision in the moment, hopefully I was getting a little divine guidance that nudged me that way.

People have still gotten sick and died even after early treatment with ivermectin, so I figure there's no guarantee.
I took my best shot, we'll see how it goes.

This really doesn't contribute much to your current situation but I've taken Ivermectin orally since the late 90's to prevent parasites because my work took me to high risk areas. I'd take it orally every 3 months.

I changed careers and started taking it again when the information about it & covid came out. I was taking it regularly when I got covid the first time. It didn't prevent it & I don't believe it really helped me get well either. Some have different opinions on it's effectiveness & ymmv.

In all those years of taking it before it was popular I had no side effects outside of premature greying of my hair & I spoke directly to some high up people who worked for Ivomec the brand name variant back in the 90's and got the dosage for my weight from them & found out back then they sent large quantities to 3rd world countries to administer to children of all ages for parasite control in turn for a tax break.

And it has the added bonus of no more tapeworm.

Yeah, this is my first time. I had two phizer shots but no booster.
I hadn't thought of the man boob thing....that could be bad...or good! Ha!

If you do develop huge man boobs, be assured you will end up with a scantily clad picture of yourself posted in this forum by @RickN
