Who here shoots 44 special? In particular, who has a gun chambered in 44 special instead of shooting out of a 44 magnum. One of the first guns I ever picked up is this one, 624 no dash, pre-lock, 4 inch barrel, still have the original cardboard box and paperwork for it.

The 44 special is one of my favorite rounds to reload. Have a Vaquero and Blackhawk chambered in it, and all the kiddos have a brace of Cimarron Cattlemen in 44 special for CAS.

Need to get another to add to the collection. Thinking about a Blackhawk Hunter in 44 mag since I no longer have the Redhawk.

My roomate has one of the Taurus ported 4" 6 shot 44 mags that looks like a S&W 629. After watching him blast everything but the target with full power 44 mag, I finally got him to shoot some 44 spec power level reloads.
Euerka, he can hit the targets now.
He got some 44 spec brass and only shoots full power magnums out of his Rossi lever
