The Tulsa Police Department is looking for three thieves accused of stealing more than $27,000 worth of knives at a midtown store.

Surveillance video shows two people breaking into the store near 11th Street and Lewis on Feb. 25.

Two people can be seen breaking the glass door with a hammer and coming in around 4 a.m., immediately running to grab dozens of knives, tomahawks and duffel bags then leaving.

About 90 minutes later a third person comes into the store and grabs more merchandise and leaves.

The total amount of merchandise stolen is more than $27,000.

Detectives are trying to identify the three people in the video. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS, reference case 2022-008762.

Can I inquire as to why they didn’t have an alarm? Seems like that would have prevented the follow theft at the very least.

Or, did they have an alarm. Maybe they did, and it just took LE 4 hours to respond. IDK, that’s why I’m asking.

I'd never heard of it but just googled it. I thought you were saying a store that sold "gadgets." But that's the name of the store and they sell outdoors stuff.

Glad I learned of it but sorry for the reason why.

Cool place, owners are good people. Haven't been by the new shop but they were supposed to be expanding.

I just checked KTUL. They added this:
Officers said they did not receive a call from the alarm company at the time of the crime, but responded later that morning when an employee called 911.
The store had an alarm and a monitoring company, but the monitoring company never made the call.

At least, that's the way it reads.
