I have a wooden crate filled with 2 spam cans of Greek Surplus 30-06 ammo. I was told this was made for the Garands that the US loaned to Greece back in the day. The two spam cans are unopened and each contain 240 rds. So, 480 rounds in total. The wooden crate has all the orginal Greek markings on it. I believe I must've bought this many moons ago from the CMP.
I plan on taking it to the big show this weekend, but before lugging it up to my table, just trying to get an idea of how to fairly price this stuff.

Any info you guys could provide would be most welcome. I'm a gun dealer, NOT an ammo dealer! (now I know why!. It's heavy!)

I was hoping you would opine, as I consider you the Garand guy! I'll look for a date on the crate.
Thanks.

Did you determine the date of manufacture? If it’s not on the crate, remove the wing nuts and take a look at the lettering on one of the cans. Should say.

Every where I searched, it averages out to about $1.15-$1.30 ish per round...the 192rd cans with the en bloc clips go for more it seems. Saw some as high as $2 per round.
