Anyone going to the gun show this weekend? If you are and are interested in my Camp 9, I am wanting a Mini 14. Prefer wood stock and iron sites but composite or a scope are not deal breakers. Extra mags are a plus and I have 30rd mags to trade for them.

Now for the important part. Took the wife in to a specialist today. He does not think the spot they saw on her pet scan was cancer. She has a nerve right behind her liver that the protective cover has come unwound. Every now and then some doc will spot it on an MRI or something, think it is cancer and proceed to scare the hell out of my wife until it is checked. It has happened enough times that I do not worry until the specialist says it is cancer.

In other news, the wind blew our old propane grill off the porch and broke one of the hinges. The wife had it before we got married and it was her late fathers before that so if possible I need to find a way to mend cast aluminum. Anyone know if something like JB Weld can be used to stick it back together?

Oh and I screwed up my arm a bit. Nothing major just pulled a muscle lifting to much.

Rick, that is great news on your wife. I bet someone here has the solution for your grill. Even with your strange knack of finding "unusual" pics, you are one of the good guys here. Good luck on your trade.
Yea, I can not use the grill because of being near open flame, but the wife wants to learn to use, I guess because it was her dad's. I know the few times I have talked about replacing it she has freaked out.

Glad your wife is ok. :thumb:

JB-weld does make a high-heat version: "JB WELD EXTREME HEAT: Is formulated for repairs to iron, steel and metal in high temperature environments 1000°F / 537°C."

Hi-heat JB-weld

The original JB-weld is only good to 500°F. Luck.
