Walmart pricing going up every day on several items.

Check the items you thought you we're purchasing for a certain price that scans much higher as you check out.

The boss lady loves to catch them on this and calls over a supervisor to change the price to the shelf marking.

The employees explanation is they simply don't have the personnel to change tags on the shelf as prices are rising so fast.
I've no reason to doubt them, but Bentonville doesn't seem to mind the "Bait and Switch" tactics!

I've also heard the same thing is happening at Winco stores. Aldi has priced themselves out of business, as far as we are concerned.

The best way to combat this is to take a black Sharpie with you when you shop and mark the shelf price on the package when
you put it in your cart, or simply take a pic with your cell if your not buying a cart full.

I use the picture. What I think sucks is they even raised the prices on the clearance aisle! No more bargains…Not sure what I’m gonna do for Christmas presents this year.

And be careful if you see something on Walmart.com and run down to the brick and mortar to buy it because a lot of times the price in-store is higher than website. Walmart will not price match their own website either! Insane! So in that case I'll buy online and wait for the text that it's ready to pick up then stroll back to online order pickup counter.

The rapid way prices are changing these days I dont even pay attention. I have to purchase some items regardless, other items I may watch prices on and actually shop for comparable items.

Its like gas, I need it no matter what, so I just pay it, not that I enjoy it but its a item I need for day to day life.

Oh and **** biden.

Gotta watch the Wally on the bigger qty packages. Many times the bigger ones cost more per oz than the smaller packs. They've got us trained to buy the bigger package, then........wham!!!

.
I've said that when buying big packages of T.P., don't look at the number of rolls.
Look at the number of Sq Feet you're getting and compare the prices that way.
(Just buy a brand you can live with otherwise that big package seems to last a LONG TIME.) :D
