I don't understand the data? Whatever... You posted a picture of voter precincts. A few are blue. A precinct isn't a county. You even quoted the data that says Oklahoma county voted republican by about 1% and then argue it's "decidedly blue"? You said yourself, "None of them voted blue..." and then say they're "decidedly blue".

"Decidedly" means there's no question about something. It's unambiguous, clear cut, unquestionably, emphatically, definitely.

I'm sorry that logic and facts ruffle and pluck your feathers. That's a you problem, not a me problem. But, I'm done. If you don't get it now you never will. Feel free to have the last word.
Yes, you don't understand. You're trying to make it fit your agenda for whatever reason. Go back and read what I wrote slowly and digest it. Metro areas are not counties. Get that through your head man. Don't put words in my mouth that were never said. I said the metro areas are decidedly blue. The map shows that. What about that can you not figure out? Look at the map, they're blue. Right over OKC and Tulsa.

The marijuana thing was an aberration and mostly came about because of the huge medical marijuana lie that was sold to us.

If Oklahoma had known it was going to be like this it would have never passed.

Liberals lie. Always remember that
I supported legalization because I believe people ought to have the freedom to choose what they intake.

I have a hard time believing a large number of "conservatives" were stupid enough to believe "medical" mj was anything more than a joke.

Kind of like "braces" versus "stocks".

Here, but occasionally There.
Depends. The metro areas are decidely blue, the rural areas are diehard red. About the same number of people in either setting though.

Actually, it is.

None of them voted blue, but it was by a narrow margin. Those percentages show that there is a near equal distribution of two parties in OK county.

This one shows that the major points of democratic votes are in the urban city areas of Tulsa and OKC.

I never said that any county in Oklahoma voted Dem., I said that the numbers are fairly even and that the distributions are what they are.

First post said "decidedly blue" but second post states differently.

In a true Liberal (or Libertarian) society there would be no drugs outlawed.

I can't disagree. I am an adult. You are an adult. We can both take our own decisions about what to do with, or ingest in, our bodies.

You want to do drugs ? Fine, I have no problems with that, as long as you don't endanger the rest of society as a result.

You want to have sex with how many other adults ? Fine, as long as everyone consents.

Whatever you do on private property, with however many consenting adults, is the business of the adults involved. No one else.

When you steal to support your habit, or drive under the influence, well then I have a problem with that. Up to that point, it's not my business, or my concern.

Yep... I'd definitely call myself a classical liberal. Most of the founding fathers and our system of government was based on the beliefs of individual freedoms. That idea has definitely been lost among most of the population in the last 120 years. A classical liberal is the absolute opposite of how we generally describe a liberal today.
The problem is there's about .002% of the population left who even know WTF a "classical liberal" is. :(

I would fit a lot of 'conservative' checkboxes for sure, but I've also certainly evolved into more of a libertarian mindset. I wish the labels and parties would go away and everyone would have to evaluate candidates based on their views and records. When I see a national vote in the senate/house fall along perfect party lines it is evidence to me of just how stupid the game is.
If every vote you take in the House/Senate falls perfectly along party lines, that means you're focused on all the wrong things. If you're not introducing bills that you KNOW will get 60% of the vote across party lines, and preferably higher, then you're just a waste of oxygen. :(

You're perfectly describing the difference between mala in se and mala prohibita laws. 90% or more of the mala prohibita laws need to be abolished, because their only victims are the sensitivities of busybodies.

Off the creek that’s next to the river
I have no idea what the man thinks of my beliefs, things are pretty jacked up now a days…
I believe in the Bible and my Lord and Savior
I believe that everyone, well most should be armed.
I believe in freedom of speech, if I don’t like it well I don’t if I do I do but I don’t go out of my to express my opinion either way unless it effects my children's future or mine.
I believe that people have the right to decide to have sex and should understand that is how the world repopulates, accept the responsibility of your actions.
I do not believe the Govt has an interest in their agenda for my quality of life or future.
I do not believe the voting system is something we can depend on anymore.
I do not believe in taking advantage of ANYONE.
I do not believe that history should be erased from books, good or bad.
I don’t believe any person other then vets deserve anything extra for being here.
I do not believe that anyone living in America deserves a check, discounted tags(if you didn’t know tribal tags do not attribute anything to our schools unlike non tribal tags) free money from other peoples addictions(gambling)or free food and land for something that happened many generations ago.
*NO, I AM NOT BEING RACIST OR TRYING TO COME OFF AS ONE I JUST BELIEVE ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. SOME TRIBES GET ALOT AND OTHERS GET $&@@ ON SO
IT NEEDS TO STOP TO HELP EVERYONE NOT JUST CERTAIN GROUPS!*
I THINK most people from California, DC and New York are total D bags.

With that, I’m not sure where that puts me in the spectrum and could care less if anyone disagrees with my beliefs (see #4)

In response to his "none of the counties voted blue" comment. Look, the fact is the cities are blue, the rural areas are red. Ther is about an even distribution of corresponding people in each area. For those of you too dense to understand what the words I'm using are or have short attention spans and can't follow along for more than a few posts, I'm saying there are as many democrats living in the cities as there are republicans living in rural areas. Jesus people, I can teach it to you but I can't learn it for you.

Two more buttoned out.

Well, I run Oklahoma tags, even though I could go tribal. Not funding schools? Sign me right the F up!

Good information, thanks.

It was not sold as recreational. It wouldnt have passed as recreational. Most people I know that voted for it regret that vote.

I would be fine with drug legalization as long as all fed and state welfare is removed.

Why do taxpayers have to pay for what drug users become? That isnt freedom. That is tax slavery for many for drug freedom for a few.

You must know some delusional or gullible folks.

I agree 100% taxpayers shouldn't fund the lifestyle, but alas, we shouldn't fund a lot of things.
