True, they shouldn't need to do so, but unfortunately they'll have to until the powers that be decide to devote resources to increase school security. Locking all doors, buzzing folks in and adding alarms to all external doors is a good first step, but schools will need to do more.
I don’t know about all Texas schools, but the school where my wife teaches has every protocol you just named. The problem is the secretary who buzzes people in buzzes EVERYONE in.

Oh, I thought for a second you might have been referring to the republican pedophiles, who outnumber pedophile democrat politicians about four to one or better. (I can provide the evidence, but it will be a long, long reply, so get prepared). In the mean time, feel free to gather the evidence to back up your claim.

Teachers and staff all over American can and do carry at school with approval. That doesn't mean that all do, or even should if they don't feel that they can do the job to it's full extent.
Understood, they shouldn’t have to…… wouldn’t need to if our fubar world was right. My only point is they were likely not the only good guys that could’ve responded. I’d bet a box of ammo someone was there, wishing he/she were not restricted by gun-free zone laws (that criminals don’t observe).

This isn't a gun problem -- it's a society problem...we've lost our way as a society and have become too glued to our electronics and detached from one another..we've lost our moral compass as a country. It all started going down hill after WW2 and the final nail in the coffin was the vietnam war hippie movement. We got soft.

Mostly Q Anon idiocy ******** that the poorly educated believe. Next.
Idiocy (you) is continually spewing your puppeteers propaganda when you cant see the truth before your eyes.

Tell us how Epstein hung himself and Gislaine was just a pawn. Barely a sword of news coverage. Yet, Johnny Dipshit gets his bed shot in and he gets beat up by his wife and coverage is half a day for 2 weeks.

As a 2A proponent we must find some sensible common ground on gun control to prevent those who have no business owning a gun from buying one. However that will accomplish nothing absent significant action dealing with persons who have a history of mental instability and/or who have made prior violence and death threats in any manner. Lastly until we, as a society, can learn to respect human life again no change will have any significant impact. I cannot believe we are incapable of not doing this to innocents over and over.
