Wife and I were in Crest doing our weekly shopping. As always checking the canned and dried stuff for good sales. Nothing special this week but at the back of the store is a cart with clearance items. I found a 10 pound bag of pinto beans for $2.50. I will be dividing that into 1 lb bags. I have some ham bones and scraps for seasoning, or jerky if things get real bad.
