Me too. That’s why I’m okay with this. If you’re a petulant child, kick your feet and pout, and take your ball and go home when your candidate doesn’t win, I’d just as soon you stay home and don’t vote. There are enough idiots voting already. We don’t need anymore.

Well as I predicted every single one of our scum bags in the federal government won. If there wasn’t 13 different people running for Inhoffe’s seat someone could have beat Mullin. I have voting on a federal election one more shot and it was pointless. I am done. Never again will I waste my time.

I actually agree with you on this. If there is a close race, it may come down to every vote counts but in reality, Oklahoma will have mullin and landlord for the next several cycles. I still vote (I didn’t this time since I’m an independent) but each time I feel more or less like it’s not worth the time on a national level.

However if uou follow local elections, it means more to get out and vote.

Well, throwing my weight behind TW at this point.
Not very hopeful though because MWM only has to pull a little over 6% of the previous Dahm or Inhofe lackey’s vote totals yesterday in the runoff to win. It’s likely that even less people will vote in the primary runoff though.
TW can pull it off, but it’s a Hail Mary at this point since MWM pulled in over 2.5x the # of votes in the first round.
Maybe there should be a plan for TW to do something different. Like, Governor when Stitt is term limited or US Representative. He doesn’t have a bad rep, he just needs to build his name recognition.

it's never a waste of time, it's important to be heard even if it seems meaningless. just the act of voting and being involved helps. I feel voting, from a personal standpoint, is almost a patriotic duty. I don't agree with how it's done or the people on the ballot, or the folks who vote sometimes, but the simply being able to vote for who you want to is a privilege not many folks on this planet have. unfortunately, there are too many intelligent people deciding not to vote so every one in a while the stupids get their way. I won't give the dims that satisfaction.

if you feel really strongly, you could always change your name to Mullin and stick your hat in the ring, see what happens.

When my choice for a candidate loses by a wide margin, there is a strong possibility that I made the wrong choice.

It's not rocket science. Every candidate for RINO Inhofe's seat was there because their competition was merely another pretender to the throne.

None of them wanted to challenge the Redheaded RINO Stepchild Lankford because it's always harder to beat the incumbent.

Seriously, we knew what was coming. I voted for Dahm but didn't think he had much chance. Against Lankford, there weren't any choices. I voted for the preacher but had not heard or seen any of his campaign literature.

That woman that ran against Lankford is a flake. Her campaign promises included paying off an $80K debt and getting her dad a medal?

I think that will be his issue if he doesn't step it up in the next few months leading to the runoff, MWM already has his name out there TW just has to put in more work to have the same amount of recognition...I'm surprised no one brought up the hot water that Lankford just went through about his comment in 2010 that he believes 13 is a reasonable age for sexual consent...Thats concerning coming from a guy that used to be the director of a children's camp.....
